This summer while vacationing in the Smoky Mountains, we crossed paths with several bears (apparently there are roughly 1,900 of them in the area)! To our utter amazement, one of them broke into my in-laws’ LOCKED minivan, and I captured it on video. It’s since been picked up by a viral media company and yes, that’s my voice in the video.
Some fun highlights from our vacation in Gatlinburg: Hillbilly Golf, the Moonshine Mountain rollercoaster, and dancing our way through Dollywood (I highly recommend it).
If you have a bear encounter story, please share!

My parents live in NE Tennessee, and the bears come around a lot. They bring their bird feeders in at night and had to put an electric fence around the bee hives.
